You see all kinds of quality labels and hallmarks in the clothing industry nowadays. The OEKO-TEX label is one just one of them. But because all our shirts, shorts, and socks are OEKO-TEX certified, we would like to explain what that means.
1. WHAT IS OEKO-TEX?
OEKO-TEX.It sounds like something you might find on the exotic food shelf of a supermarket, or the latest social media platform you’ve never heard of. But it is actually something quite important. OEKO-TEX is an environmental hallmark for (amongst other things) textiles. OEKO-TEX 100 The OEKO-TEX 100 hallmark , for example, means the finished product - for example a piece of clothing - does not contain any harmful substances. That way you know it is not bad for your health or bad for the environment.
2. WHAT DOES AN OEKO-TEX LABEL TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR CLOTHING?
If a garment has an OEKO-TEX label, then you know you can wear it without being contaminated by harmful substances, like pesticides and heavy metals.
3. ARE ALL NOSHIRT PRODUCTS OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED?
Because our undershirts, shorts and socks come into contact with your skin, they have to meet very strict standards before they are awarded an OEKO-TEX label. All our clothing is made using OEKO-TEX certified raw materials, chemicals and processes. That way you know our clothes are safe to wear: they are 100% skin-friendly and have been tested for allergies.
Feels a lot better, right?
